Newly Registered Motor Caravans in Germany in 2012

2012 was another record year in the history of the German caravanning industry: Registrations of new vehicles increased again by 10.4 percent in 2012 (to 24,062 vehicles). In comparison, new car registrations decreased by 2.9 percent. The record result was due to the positive development in the segment of upgrade standard vans. They now make up 30 percent of the market based on CIVD projections.
