AIC 2026 Concludes Successfully with Record-High Level of Internationalization

On May 17, All in CARAVANING 2026 successfully concluded at the Shougang Convention & Exhibition Center in Beijing after three days’ exhibition.

As the only satellite show of CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, the world's largest exhibition for motorhomes and caravans and a key annual event for China’s RV and camping industry, AIC aims to help exhibitors explore business opportunities and provide an international and professional stage for showcasing their new products and services.

The scale of AIC 2026 has further expanded this year, covering 30,000 square meters across indoor and outdoor spaces with nearly 200 exhibiting brands from China and abroad. Professional buyers, industry insiders and RV enthusiasts came in strong numbers, showing high expertise and clear sourcing intent.

Over the three day event, AIC welcomed a total of 17,090 visitors. International attendance rose steadily this year. A total of 458 overseas visitors from 45 countries and regions including Germany, Spain, Australia, Mongolia, the UAE, Qatar, Slovenia, Thailand, Japan, India and the UK attended the show, representing a 25.48% increase from the previous edition and a record high, fully demonstrating AIC’s international profile and strong global appeal.

Ms. Evian Gu, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., pointed out: "Professional RV exhibitions serve as a vital driving platform for the development of the RV industry. With a 15 year history in China, AIC brings together complete vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, campsites and service providers. It connects professional buyers with individual consumers, facilitating on site transactions, letter of intent signings and channel expansion, effectively boosting industry production and sales, and helping enterprises expand markets and enhance brand influence. As the exhibition organizer, we will continue to uphold an innovative spirit, leverage the global resources of Messe Düsseldorf, and drive win win development of the RV industry ecosystem."

More than 20 media professionals and influencers in the RV and camping industry were on site, including RV Detective, RV Partner, RV GO, The Wild Reviewer, VAN STUDIO, among others. Content creators from Germany and Spain also traveled to the event. Through live streaming, on site exhibition tours and interactive sharing, they continuously boosted the show’s popularity, generating remarkable online attention and exposure for AIC.

The Wild Reviewer commented: "I attend AIC almost every year. Not only can I view a wide range of RVs here, but also systematically learn about the latest developments across the whole industry chain, which is highly informative. I discovered many innovative outdoor gear on site, including fuel gas stoves and other equipment for RV living, offering me great inspiration."

Exhibitors responded positively to AIC's platform value. 90% of exhibitors landed on-site orders, including SAIC MAXUS, LiveZone, Reifu, Compaks, Saide, Weihang, ROMANTISCH, Lidu, Tujia, BJFRT, Conquerfalcon, Sevenwolves, Chang’an, RVBACK, Nuojia, Xiaoqingting, ETRV, Four Seasons, Bo Tongxue, etc. While most of them formed long-term partnerships through in-depth talks with the buyers.

CATL subsidiary Synland made its debut at AIC, where it held a grand launch ceremony for its new brand Xinlan. Within 48 hours, it received 318 pre orders and more than 800 potential customer leads, delivering impressive results. Through participation, Synland has boosted its influence in target markets, achieving dual breakthroughs in exhibition benefits and resource matching.

Ms. Chen Kai, Brand Marketing at Synland, spoke highly of the event: "Communication with the AIC organizing team went very smoothly, with strong support provided throughout. From venue confirmation and on site execution to follow up coordination, everything was well handled, laying a solid foundation for our successful launch event. Overall, we gained positive market and customer feedback and achieved our initial exhibition goals."

Most notably, AIC has truly delivered its value as an international exhibition platform. By actively connecting exhibitors with overseas resources including cutting edge industry insights, global suppliers and influential international KOLs, the organizer has built an ideal bridge for Chinese RV brands.”

We hope AIC will keep improving the exhibition, attract more RV enthusiasts, promote RV culture through diverse activities, enable the public to experience authentic outdoor lifestyles, and empower the growth of China’s RV industry through cultural development."

The concurrent industry conferences continued to play an authoritative role. At the seminar “Europe's RV Market Insights: Layouts, Customer Expectations, Equipment and Regulatory Requirements”, Mr. Tim Rüttgers, technical expert from Caravanning Industry Association e.V. (CIVD), delivered in-depth insights on the international development of the RV industry, product trend evolution, and market expansion strategies. His presentation provided valuable guidance for relevant companies in optimizing product development, grasping market dynamics, and advancing international cooperation.

In addition, several high-level closed-door sessions were held, covering topics such as SINO-German RV industry development and electric RV chassis. These sessions focused on core technologies and cutting-edge industry issues, effectively breaking down international technical barriers and unlocking new opportunities for collaboration.

As a key feature co-created by AIC and APAxpo, the RV Customization Trend Festival drew significant attention and kept the energy high throughout the show. Featuring customized vehicles from off-road and smart builds to retro and personalized styles, the zone gave visitors an immersive look into RV modification culture. Visitors spent time examining their favorite vehicles and talking with owners and experts about spatial design, layouts, and user experience. The festival not only added a strong sense of individuality to the exhibition but also opened up more possibilities for visitors to imagine RV living. This zone emerged as one of the most popular segments at this year’s AIC, boasting strong popularity, high profile discussions and striking visual appeal.

Mr. Liu Yue, Marketing Director of APAxpo, highly recognized the outcomes of this collaboration: "The RV Customization Trend Festival jointly created by AIC and APAxpo through powerful partnership has achieved remarkable results with outstanding highlights. Through in depth synergy, both sides gathered diverse refit ideas, fully demonstrated the charm of RV refit culture and effectively stimulated visitors’ engagement. Boasting great popularity and reputation, this area has enriched exhibition content and reflected the strong synergy of the two platforms in empowering industrial development."

The Outdoor Life Culture Festival was a major crowd-puller and a must-visit destination. Across the expansive lawn, a market-style setup with multiple themed zones blended cultural experiences, equipment showcases, and interactive activities — giving visitors a vivid taste of outdoor living beyond the show floor.

AIC SCHOOL held multiple sharing and exchange sessions, becoming a highlight of the show. Sessions covered RV living, customization, and outdoor experiences, featuring a rotating lineup of influencers that kept visitors engaged. Unlike traditional product displays, AIC SCHOOL focused on real-life usage and lifestyle stories — helping visitors move beyond just looking at RVs to understanding how to use them, live in them, and hit the road.

Timo Boll, German table tennis legend and CIVD brand ambassador, returned to AIC for the fourth time, bringing the power of sports stardom to the RV industry and once again sparking the crossover excitement between table tennis and RV culture. He played a thrilling elite match with celebrity player Zu Li, and also engaged warmly with fans through friendly games, photos, and interactions. The RV exhibition paired with exciting games delighted on site visitors greatly.

From exhibitor feedback to visitor engagement, and from professional conferences to concurrent activities, AIC 2026 delivered a solid on-site performance and sustained business value, clearly showcasing the new dynamics and rising momentum of China’s RV camping industry. Mr. Daniel Onggowinarso, Managing Director of CIVD, expressed full confidence: " I’m just very impressed by the recent development of China’s RV market. After some years of stable development I think now we see more momentum here on the Chinese market. This is encouraging.”

With evolving market demands, expanding consumption scenarios, and deeper international ties, China’s RV sector is poised for even greater growth. As a key gateway to observe industry trends, AIC will continue to leverage its role as an international and professional platform to elevate China’s RV industry to new heights.
