Profession Leads to Glory: All in CARAVANING 2014 Concluded with Resounding Success

On June 29, 2014, the three-day exhibition All in CARAVANING 2014, which was jointly held by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co, Ltd., YASN International Exhibition Co., Ltd, China National Travel Service (HK) Group Corporation, The Recreational Vehicle Industry Committee of China Association of Automotive Manufacturers (CAAM) and China Self-Driving Tour and Camping & Caravaning Association (STCCA)of CTACA successfully rang down the curtain in Beijing Exhibition Centre. The show obtained a good reputation by its vast offer and became one of the most wonderful events in Beijing Exhibition Centre in the current year.

All in CARAVANING 2014 possessed a unprecedented scale with the exhibition area up to 20,000 square meters, 183 exhibitors from 11 countries including China, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia, Sweden, America, Australia, Turkey and Japan with their new products came on stage, and there are altogether 153 caravans and motor caravans on the show. The total number of visitors in three days reached 5231; although the number is slightly declining compared with the last “All in CARAVANING & All in TUNING”, it was the first time that the caravaning show and tuning show were separately held, hence with higher-quality and more targeted visitor groups. Visitors mainly came from all provincial and municipal representatives in China Mainland except for Tibet, and there are 45 oversea visitors from Australia, South Africa, Egypt, HongKong SAR, Taiwan Region, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Turkey, the UK, Belgium, Ireland, Iceland, Korea, Japan, Thailand and Mongolia. Based on the on-site survey questionnaire analysis, 94% of the exhibitors felt satisfied or very satisfied with the exhibition that it had achieved their expected effect, established valuable after-show business connection and obtained impressive intention orders. 89% of visitors gave review that it was worthwhile to make this trip, because they had seen the products and information of their interest and held a highly effective communication with exhibitors. Many of them had made well preparation on the next procurement and travelling plan.


 
Over 20 media of the caravaning & camping industry like 360 Camping, China Camping, raccc.com, Campingchina.cc, FBLIFE.com, rv360, RV and Camping magazine and 80 mass media like BTV, Travel Channel, Xinhua.net, China News, NetEase, Sohu, Youku, Tudou, China.com, World Wide Web, Global Times and Beijing Daily, altogether 100 media were present on site to visit and report, with mighty publicity and over 100 articles of published manuscripts; the brand value of All in CARAVANING was created through multiple campaign channels like magazine, newspapers, network and video.

Significant trading volume, outstanding exhibition effect
The exhibition site presented both fervent business atomsphere and harmonious family style. Visitors, including old couples, families of three and several generations, scrambled for experiencing the performance and comfortable degree of caravans and consulted kinds of questions in detail. Yutong, North RV, RV International, Daide Longtree and other exhibitors held grand press conferences for the newly launched caravans on site. Other featured activities within exhibition stands were held vigorously: Brilliance International and Adria Mobil, one of European five large caravan brands, made the signing ceremony; Yutong first issued a caranvan brand “KLEN.rv”, North RV brought a “swimming pool” into the exhibition hall; the Longtree stand had the style of “bamboo forest”. The exhibition presented one climax after another, attracting numerous visitors to celebrate. These feature exhibition stands on site was full of popularity! The HKCTS brought the miniature version of a camp into the exhibition site; meanwhile they held the signing ceremony with Ningxia Shapotou, attracting many visitors to applaud. The Campgrounds Layout Map illustrating 108 completed, being constructed and planned campgrounds within 13 districts and counties of Beijing was displayed by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development Shanghai International Automobile City brought its Electric F1 Competition to Beijing, which aroused numerous car racing fans to try out. The Caravan Culture Demonstration Zone not only showcased the 72 excellent campgrounds nationwidewhich had joined China Campground Experience Program, but also comprehensively introduced winners and outstanding candidates who participated in “China Caravan Ambassador” contests, and played the camping activity videos of many domestic caravan enterprises and clubs, which attracted many caravan lovers to watch and appreciate. Many exhibitors had obtained new deals or clients, and the transaction gross with intention had exceeded one hundred sets of caravans!Good news from exhibitors proved that the trade purpose on exhibition was well achieved.




 
Annual Conference displayed with a hit, guiding the direction of industry
“All in CARAVANING Annual Conference” has grown with the exhibition since it was first established in 2012. It has been held for three times by this year with increasingly obvious public praise and brand effect. The attendance in two days reached nearly 200 people who were key players in the industry to make the top-end information issue and pragmatic information communication. The theme of June 27 was “Campground Day”, and the Secretary General of China Tourism Automobile & Cruise Association Mr. Liu Hanqi summarized the development and relevant new policies of China’s campgrounds in the past two years from different perspectives. National Tourism Administration was expected to issue the national standard on the construction, service and management of campgrounds. Chairman of Beijing Tourism Industry Association Auto Camping Branch Mr. An Qingheng, Director of Policy and Laws, Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration Mr. Wang Jianming and Managing Director of China CTS Asset Management Corporation Ms. Tian Qun, President of Centech Investment Management Co., Ltd Mr. Liu Weiyi, President of 318 Auto Camp Motel Mr. Hao Gang and President of No. 1 Lake Tai CamPark Mr. Huang Weirong shared their experience in the development of campground and opportunities and challenges in front of them from the perspective of government and industry. General Manager of ACSI (Auto Camping Service International) Mr. Ramon Van Reine, Director of Asia Affairs of Recreational Vehicle Industry Association Mr. Edward Han, General Manager of Camping Consultant & Ex- GM of Gitzenwiler Hof Ms. Heidrun Muller, General Manager of Holland Camping Group and Preport International B.V. Mr. Danny Hazewindus and other industry elites of campground field of developed countries answered and solved questions raised by the participant guests, shared their successful experience and provided favorable suggestions for the development of China’s camping industry.


 
On June 28, the Annual Conference entered the theme day of RV. Tycoons in caravan industry from China and abroad made mutual communication to share information and talked about the international cooperation. President of RV Committee of China Association of Automotive Manufacturers (CMRV) Mr. Xu Zhangwo offered the best wishes for the favorable effect in the cooperation Domestic caravan manufacturers from different brands like North RV, Yutong, Zoemo and Great Wall respectively introduced their product and market orientation and expressed their appeal for international cooperation. Top leaders of European most-famous caravan manufacturers like Trigano, Fendt, Hymer, Adria and KiP also expressed their strategy in China after introducing their brands and sought for new business opportunities through the excellent platform of All in CARAVANING; the entire Annual Conference was filled with various highlights.

President of Trigano Group Mr. François Feuillet shared his experience in which he helped Trigano Group obtain the high status in European caravan industry through purchasing tents in China 30 years ago. President of Fendt Mr. Klaus Fortsch played the short video showing how the Fendt factory was manufacturing caravans, which not only gained applause, and also China caravan manufacturers’ admiration. President of CNGC Beijing North Vehicle Group Corporation Mr. Li Quanwen immediately raised his invitation to invite Mr. Fortsch to visit their Group and hoped that Fendt would first cooperate with them ,. Managing Director of Hymer AG Mr. Hermann Pfaff comprehensively introduced the multi-brand and differentiation orientation in the subordinate of Hymer Group, which made China’s caravan industry players broaden their horizon on the product orientation and marketing strategy of European caravans. The next speaker is the CEO of Adria Mobil d.o.o Ms. Sonja Gole. Adria, as one of European five large caravan groups, engaged in promoting the multiple series of products under the brand Adria. The products not only enjoyed great reputation in European market, but also obtained a huge success in the newly developing markets. Before entering China, Adria had successfully entered the markets of Australia, Japan, Korea and Russia through seeking for reliable local partner for cooperation. This time, Adria’s Chinese cooperation partner had the fully reinforced strength. Brilliance International Auto will assist Adria in the prosperous development for the career in China depending on its excellent national marketing network and abundant experience and resources for automobile production. The last speaker was KiP CEO Mr. Henk Gunnink, who brought in two relaxing and humorous caravan videos, making audiences burst into laughter. Mr. Gunnink said that what these two videos would display was how camping would offer people pleasure. KiP, as the Netherlands caravan brand company with 80 years of history, hoped to help Chinese people find pleasure in life. The presence of CEOs of European five caravan groups became the largest highlight in the Annual Conference. Head of Division, Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure Mr. Christian Theis had participated in the Annual Conference in the successive three terms; this year, he introduced technical criteria, regulations and road system related to the driving of European caravan from the perspective of government functional department, and shared the successful experience that Germany broke through the development bottleneck of caravan industry to find new opportunities.

Wonderful activities in the same stage, colorful caravan culture comprehensively promoted visitors’ experience
Whether it is professional technical talks, match-making seminars, summit forums, or hand painting competition of fun, or the exciting prize-presentation ceremony for Caravan Ambassador, they all shortened the distance between exhibitors and visitors and made caravan culture closer to the public. The organizing of these activities undoubtedly contributed to the success of All in CARAVANING 2014.



The “Caravan Handpaint Award” held for the second time was still popular, especially in weekend, ; many little kids competed against each other for imagination and painting work, and many caravans of creativity and inspiration were vividly shown on the paper. The organizer altogether collected over 200 pieces of works. Many participants expressed that “This activity is interesting and relaxing, it is better to participate in with family members, and it is expected to be held next year.” On the afternoon of June 28, the prize-presentation ceremony for “China Caravan Ambassador” was held after the Annual Conference. In the ceremony, Ambassador Winner Mr. Liu Danian, winners for Fashion Caravan Owners Mr. He Wei, Ms. Deng Ping and Mr. Dai Ganghua were presented to take the trophy and accept the celebration from others. Mr. Liu Danian said that he began to have the caravan trip under the advices of friends. The trips made his handicapped daughterobtain more comfort; Mr. Liu stated that since he commenced caravan trip, the state of his whole family has changed from lacking of social contact to being confident with positive energy. Due to limited budget, currently Mr. Liu still used his refitted caravan for the trip, but he also hoped to purchase a professional caravan which would be more comfortable to take his families to see the world. The organizer immediately called on the caravan manufacturers to offer caravan sponsorship or purchase privilege for Mr. Liu. Ex- GM of Gitzenwiler Hof Ms. Heidrun Muller expressed that she would provide the free stay of German Five-star campground for two nights for the Liu family. Mr. Liu said that he gladly undertook the mission of spreading and promoting caravan culture through all his efforts. As a reward, and with the sufficient preparation by the entire families, they will be sponsored by All in CARAVANING organizer to head for Germany this August to meet the former winners of the last two contests Mr. Zhang Laoye and Mr. Gu Yunsong, and visit the world’s largest show for motor homes and caravans- Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, where they will show the image of China’s caravan owners on the international stage.
