14 Self-Drive Tour Bases Unveiled in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province

On May 8th, 2011, the Site Meeting for Jiangsu Self-Drive Tour Base Development was held by Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Bureau in Yizheng Redhill Sports Park in Yangzhou. Mr. Wang Yuxin, Deputy Mayor of Yangzhou addressed the participants and chaired the Plate Conferring Ceremony for the 14 self-drive tour bases established in 2010 in Jiangsu Province.

By the end of 2010, 22 entities in Jiangsu Province had past the stringent inspection and acceptance tests and were identified as the Provincial Self-Drive Tour Base. Back to April 2010, the success of the First Site Meeting for Jiangsu Self-Drive Tour Base Development held in Shajiabang, Changshu had a significant and profound impact on the development of self-drive tourism in Jiangsu Province. This emerging tourism mode has quickly become a new highlight in tourism development and a new growth area in the tourism economy in Jiangsu.
